Resolve

As for me, I KNOW that my Redeemer lives, and at the last He will take His stand on the earth.
Job 19:25

I KNOW...I don't believe, or hope, or think...I KNOW my Redeemer lives.

He WILL redeem what Satan has taken.

He WILL receive glory from my life.

Jobless

So I found out last Thursday that they are moving First Priority's National Offices to Harrogate, TN and my job will be terminated as of September 15th.

I'm thankful for the two months notice...but especially bummed. If I would have known I wouldn't have a job before South Africa, I would have went to NYC this week on the Kairos Mission's trip. I wasn't going cause I didn't have the time to take off at work...which I won't have come end of September when the South Africa trip is.

You're prayers would be GREATLY appreciated as I don't have a clue what to do next. Thank you.

ONE campaign

From the 500,000 letters you sent to President Bush to Live 8 in Philadelphia to the G8 Summit in Gleneagles, you called on eight men to do more to fight global AIDS and extreme poverty, and they heard your call. In Scotland this past Friday, overcoming the shadow of a tragic day in London, President Bush joined G8 leaders in an unprecedented deal to cancel debts and double aid to Africa.
For African nations fighting poverty and corruption, this means a $25 billion increase in aid and wiping out 100% of their debts. With this funding, Africa can halve deaths from malaria, put millions of children into school, and 10 million people across the world will have access to lifesaving AIDS drugs. Behind each of these numbers is one person, one life that will be changed forever.
For the first time ever, everyday Americans like you joined together to take a seat at the negotiating table, asking the world's most powerful leaders to do more to help the world's poorest people. Because you signed the ONE Declaration, wore the
white band and forwarded emails to friends about ONE, you made a huge step toward making poverty history. We've come so far and still have far to go.

It frustrates me that the Church didn't think of this...and that most in the Church still don't know what it's about. We're told the greatest thing we can do is take care of widows and orphans, to love God and love others...

Father...Forgive us, we're failing miserably. Teach us to care...

Last night we wrapped up our softball season....in the final game of the tourny. We lost to the other Brentwood Team. It happens every year. It's VERY frustrating to me. BUT we had a lot of fun AND we got a plaque and t-shirts that say Champions.

This evening I'm going to support the indoor soccer peeps. I think their team name is Ultimate Chaos. So far...I'm the only fan. lol!

yada yada

So I'm posting because I haven't in a while. Although I really don't have too much to say right now.

I'll be starting a part-time gig at Student Ministries office on Monday. I'm not exactly sure what all it will entail, but I'm excited about it. It'll be weird to actually be working WITH people...I mean, I work with people now but none of them are actually in the office here...They are just all across the country and/or working from home.

Tonight I'm hanging out with Rachel cause it's her last weekend in town to actually do stuff. She's moving back to TX at the end of the month. I'm going to miss her TONS. We have breakfast together every Tuesday morning...It's great. But soon she'll be engaged and then married to a wonderful man...It's sooooooooo sweet. Almost make you gag sweet, but not quite.

I learned how to do the sidebar stuff...That was kind of fun. I hope I remember how to do it so I can add more later.

Jesus and me...Well...were working on healing my heart. It stinkin' hurts most of the time. I am looking forward to the other side and being free from a lot of what is holding me back. Some of that stuff I am aware of but most of it I am not yet. The rest of the summer will prove to be painful...but in a good way. (you know there is a difference between bad pain and good pain right?)

Anyway...That's the news of my world....Adios
