Thunderstorms and Peace

A storm's a brewin'! I'm in a cafe full of windows, and I love to watch the sky light up. As the trees sway back and forth I am reminded that my God is personal. He is near. He is a God of details and He has not forgotten me.

Now the roar of the rain on the roof is louder than the music in my ears.

Chaos rains and my inmost being is at peace.
Why?
Because I know the rain maker and, more importantly, He knows me.

Hello! Just surfed by ~ I love your blog :)! I'll be back again soon. Meanwhile - this post reminds me distantly of one I wrote a while back. If you have time, swing by and click on "Still" in my "Best Of" sidebar.

Our God is an awesome God :))
