odd concepts

1. That you can call food "Santa Fe Style" by adding corn to it.

2. No one in the south has ever heard of and/or tasted a Shamrock shake. My friends, this is a travisty. Tiffany is whole-heartedly searching for a way to get me a Shamrock shake. (THANKS TIFF) I'm afraid it will not happen as the cost of shipping something with dry ice may be too expensive in the long run. A bummer...but not a major one.

I leared about Shamrock Shakes yesterday. I learned to make sure that whomever is making it does not put to much of the coloring in it. I still have green teeth.

Ohh well, anyone have a good recipie for green eggs and ham? I have so wanted to try it, I guess now is a good time since the social embarrasment of having a green mouth has already occured. Maybe I can get Jacob to try it too!

i'd assume more food coloring for the green eggs and ham (did you know today is Dr. Suess b-day)
Anyway...did your shamrock shake come from McDonalds?? Crazy coloring people! :)

My daughter's kindergarten class just made green eggs and ham last week. They simply scrambled some eggs, added a couple of drops of green food coloring, threw in some diced ham and cooked it on the griddle. I was trying to think of a way to color the ham in a whole slice (like the pics in the book), but I'm not sure. Maybe if you added some green-colored water to the skillet . . . but I haven't tried it yet. Have fun!
