It is 3:05pm

on my birthday. So far today has been VERY entertaining!

  • I talked to mom (whose birthday is also today). I helped her w/ her first ATM deposit.
  • Then Christina and I went to Alpine for breakfast. I tried the Rootin' Tootin' Sandwhich. VERY yummy, and I got good coffee.
After that there were a myriad of birthday e-cards, emails and myspace messages. It's fun to see who remembers and when and all that jazz.
  • Jill dropped off my birthday present...in a jello mold ala Office style. :)
  • My co-worker Rachel took me to Bricks Cafe for lunch. Not only was the food A-mazing, but the waiter was too! I have a huge crush on him...I see him around town every now and again...whadda do?
  • More birthday phone calls, Cousin Chris and my dad.
  • Jill came by AGAIN with a singing card, and we danced in the office and another present
  • The fellas here at work just went and got me ice cream. :)

So far it's been great! Tonight I've having dinner w/ new and old friends and hopefully bowling! woo-hoo! I know we'll probably all complain about how terrible we are...but i don't care. It'll be fun!

It's Late...

and I am trying desperately to stay awake. I am babysitting. It's been fun and fairly nostalgic. I haven't baby sat since high school. There are 3 boys 6, 4, and 2. Sweetest boys on the planet and one of the easiest babysitting jobs ever. We played a 20 questions game, I reffed a basketball show down between the "Indiana Hoosiers" and the "Chicago Cubs" and then we watched a little Carz...I still haven't finished that yet.

Last weekend with the family was fantastic. I do not take for granted the legacy I am a part of and dream of big things for my family. God is moving and it's exciting! We all got our "rhayma" word and I pray we are able to apply it in our every day lives, while expecting a new, fresh word from God on a daily basis.

This week was really busy as well...catching up with old friends, making new ones, teaching some high schoolers who are desperately hungry to understand the scriptures, listening to some very talented people sing at a new (to me) coffee shop and now I'm babysitting. Or...rather...trying to stay awake.

My goal for tomorrow...sleep and watch "The Holiday". Oh...and finish the lesson for Awaken.

I love ya...

Tomorrow my family arrives
My mom and her four sisters (pictured above Sept. of last year) and 3 of my cousins...
I'm SO excited! We're going to the Deeper Still event at the Sommet Center. Should be fun! A. Jude is bringing my grandma's handicap sign and cane so we can park in handicap places.
She cracks me up. :)
It'll definitely be an adventure.
